If a power outage causes some type of emergency, such as a patient losing access to their oxygen, dial 9-1-1, and let the Telecommunicator know the details. If you are simply reporting a power outage, you should not dial 9-1-1. Contact Commonwealth Edison at 1-800-Edison-1 (1-800-334-7661). You can also visit their website at: https://www.comed.com/_LAYOUTS/COMEDSP/OUTAGEMAP.ASPX. The website will allow you to input your address to determine if Commonwealth Edison is aware of the outage in your area.
