WSCDC Now Receiving Calls and Dispatching for the Park Ridge Police Department

The West Suburban Consolidated Dispatch Center (WSCDC) began dispatching for the Park Ridge Police Department on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at approximately 1100 hours.

Note: The Park Ridge Police Department was previously dispatched by DPEC (Des Plaines Park Ridge Emergency Communications).
Please, make sure that your Telecommunicators are transferring calls to WSCDC appropriately for the Park Ridge Police Department. (Your old 9-1-1 transfer buttons for Park Ridge may go to Des Plaines, since they were the same as Des Plaines for years, so please verify in your phone systems.)

The Park Ridge Police Department is call forwarding their existing 10-digit emergency/non-emergency line of 847-825-2131 to WSCDC for the next six-to-nine months. Citizens and alarm companies will be encouraged to dial 708-771-5253.

WSCDC will be dispatching the Park Ridge Police Department on the Elmwood Park talk group on the Cook County radio system.

WSCDC now dispatches for the Elmwood Park, Oak Park, Park Ridge, and River Forest Police Departments, as well as the Elmwood Park, Oak Park, and River Forest Fire Departments.

The Park Ridge Fire Department is dispatched by RED Center in Northbrook.
